Pharmacy services - All FDA-approved prescription drugs are covered for US Family Health Plan members when prescribed by an authorized US Family Health Plan provider.
Costs: Co-payments are $3 per prescription for generic medications, $9 per prescription for name-brand medications, and $22 for non-formulary medications. This fee covers up to a 30-day supply or up to the quantity prescribed, whichever is smaller.
How to get prescriptions filled:
- Primary Pharmacies: US Family Health Plan's primary pharmacies are located at the Brighton Marine Health Center in Boston and Brighton Marine at Hanscom.
- Urgent, one-time, or family planning prescriptions:
Present your US Family Health Plan member ID card at a network retail pharmacy nationwide. Co-payments are due when you pick up your medications. For a network pharmacy near you, call 1-800-818-8589. - Mail Order Pharmacy Service: Save over 66% on longterm medications and prescription refills when you use US Family Health Plan's Mail Order Pharmacy Service. Get a 90-day supply by mail for the same co-payment as a 30-day supply at a retail pharmacy. No driving, no hassles, no charge for postage. Allow 10 days for mailing.
